The Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce can help take your handshake around the globe. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together companies and industries, bridging the geographic and cultural barriers to benefit businesses in Texas and Israel.

A growing number of Texas based high-technology companies are exploring and developing business opportunities and relationships with companies, investors and entrepreneurs in Israel and seeking access to Israel’s expansive capital markets.

Major American companies, such as Microsoft, Intel, Motorola, Berkshire Hathaway, Texas Instruments, have tapped into the remarkable concentration of human brainpower in Israel. Many Texas-based companies have also established joint ventures in Israel. Similarly, a number of Israeli companies have made substantial investments in Texas and even acquired companies located in Texas, specifically in high-technology and electronics industries.

The State of Texas now ranks as the United States’ third largest trading partner with Israel. This growing volume of trade between Israel and Texas consists of apparel, computer-related hardware and software, biomedical products, electronic data transmission, telecom, cable television, food products, medical products, and defense products and systems.

As a result of the U.S.-Israel Free Trade Area Agreement and the agreement with the European Economic Community, Israel’s exporters enjoy special access to the biggest markets in the world. Israel has negotiated free trade agreements with numerous countries, positioning Texas as a gateway between Israel and Latin American markets.

The Chamber serves businesses of all sizes looking to the international market in Israel, expanding into the European Common Market via Israel, or becoming a trading partner with Israeli companies.
