Texas Governor Greg Abbott attended Israel’s 70th Anniversary Celebration in Houston last week at an event hosted by Israel’s Consul General to the Southwest United States, Gilad Katz.
Gov. Abbott addressed the crowd and spoke about the Lone Star State’s ardent and ongoing support of Israel, giving notable mention to the Anti-BDS Law enacted by Gov. Abbott last May.
The Governor closed his remarks affirming the ongoing dedication to strengthening the strategic alliance between the two States,
“Tonight we rededicate our commitment to maintain our partnership with Israel. We must ensure that our generation continues to respond to the challenges that we face so that Israel and America together remain the beacons of freedom for people across the entire world.”
